The services Active provides are essential to public safety, whether we’re helping to ensure bushfire prevention and power supply integrity working with our energy sector clients or assessing, caring for, pruning or removing hazardous trees for local government, institutions, schools and other organisations.
For our Active family, the community of our workmates, our families and ourselves, personal safety is paramount. Active was the first in the industry to introduce smaller, telescopic, insulated Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs), setting up an importing business to bring this innovation to market, and continues to import them to this day. We pioneered industry training videos and the integration of safety processes into our everyday workflow. Our R&D facility has produced safety innovations adopted by our clients. Our work and innovation continues, founded on principles such as “keeping people out of the air”. We care and we do.

Green
Active works with Councils, government institutions, public and private companies to plant and preserve trees, promote urban greening, canopy cover and create habitats.
Our work in bushfire mitigation is not only essential to the integrity of our energy supply and the other assets we protect but in preserving the flora and fauna around those assets.
Our “Act Green” team of Active employees work to foster reduced fuel and material usage, the re-use of resources such as felled trees and branches, the recycling of our waste streams through in-house initiatives and directly support local community projects such as mulch supply and tree planting.
Active is independently endorsed as a carbon neutral business. Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions have been assessed and forecast and carbon offsets procured both locally (Australian native reforestation in the Yarra Yarra biodiversity corridor) and overseas.
Through Printreleaf, we plant trees to replace the paper we use.
